1.Who we are and what these Terms cover
Saferni (“Saferni”, “we”, “us”) is a travel-planning service operated by Saferni and more Travel and Tourism L.L.C S.O.C (Dubai trade licence No. 1653103), based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at Office 607, Opal Tower, Marasi Drive, Business Bay.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and us and govern your use of the Saferni website, application and APIs (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.
2.What Saferni is — and what it is not
Saferni is a planning tool. It composes itineraries, budgets and travel information from verified data sources, and links out to third parties where you may search or book.
Saferni is not a travel agency, tour operator, airline, hotel, ticketing agent or booking platform. We do not sell, reserve, hold, resell or act as agent for any flight, accommodation, transfer, tour or activity, and we are not a party to any booking you make. Any contract for travel services is between you and that provider.
We are not an immigration adviser, legal adviser, medical adviser, insurer or financial adviser, and nothing in the Service is advice of that kind.
3.Estimates, not guarantees
Prices, fares, availability, climate figures, travel times, opening hours, distances and budget totals in the Service are estimates, labelled throughout with the words “Estimate — confirm before booking.”
Estimates come from cached data, statistical climate records, published sources and arithmetic we perform. They can be out of date or differ from what a provider offers at the moment you book. You must confirm live price and availability with the relevant provider before booking or travelling. We are not responsible for third-party price or availability changes.
4.Entry requirements, safety and health information
Visa and entry-status information comes from a hand-curated internal table, each row carrying a source link and a verification date. Travel advisory levels come from published government advisories via an aggregator, and are informational.
This is a starting point, not a determination. Coverage is partial, rules change without notice, and your individual circumstances — nationality combinations, residence, prior travel, purpose of visit, document validity — can change the outcome entirely.
You are solely responsible for verifying visa, passport, health, insurance, customs, safety and entry requirements with official government sources and your carrier before you book or travel. We accept no liability for a denied boarding, denied entry, fine, missed connection or cancelled trip arising from reliance on information in the Service.
5.Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 to create an account, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase a subscription or credit pack.
- Generating a plan requires an account. You may sign in with an email sign-in code or with Google.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your email and sign-in codes secure. Tell us promptly at info@saferni.ae if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation.
- One person, one account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
- Legacy anonymous plans are tied to a key stored in your browser. If you clear that storage, change device, or use private browsing before signing in and claiming them, those plans cannot be recovered.
6.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful.
- Circumvent daily, weekly, credit or rate limits — including by creating multiple accounts, sharing accounts, or automating sign-ups.
- Interfere with advertising on the Service: hiding, relabelling, reordering or injecting ads, generating clicks or impressions by any means other than genuine interest, or automating, scripting or otherwise faking the completion of a rewarded ad to obtain credits. Using an ordinary ad blocker is not a breach of these Terms.
- Scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically extract content, data or imagery, or use it to train, fine-tune, benchmark or distil a machine-learning model, without our prior written permission.
- Resell, sublicense, white-label or offer the Service — or its output at scale — as your own planning product.
- Probe, load-test, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure, other users’ data, or administrative surfaces.
- Submit content you have no right to submit, including other people’s personal data you are not permitted to share.
- Misrepresent Saferni output as verified, guaranteed or official.
7.Your content
“Your Content” means what you put into the Service: trip inputs and notes, profile details and travel preferences, travel-document entries, itinerary edits and revision instructions, expenses and participant names, pasted booking confirmations, feedback and avatar images.
- You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit and adapt it solely to operate, secure and improve the Service for you — including sending the relevant parts to the AI and data providers named in the Privacy Policy. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups and logs pending routine deletion.
- We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we instruct our providers on terms that do not permit training on it.
- If you add participants, paste a booking confirmation, or otherwise submit information about someone else, you confirm you are entitled to do so.
- Shared plan cache: for requests containing no free-text notes, we may reuse the composed, non-personal core of a generated plan (destination, duration, month, style, budget tier, party size) to serve others faster and cheaper. That core carries no personal data, identifiers or notes. Include a note in your request if you would rather it were not reused.
8.Plan output, third-party data and attribution
Plans are generated for your personal, non-commercial travel planning. Subject to these Terms you may keep, edit, print and share your plans.
Plans incorporate third-party material that carries its own licence, and those licences travel with the content: Wikipedia and Wikivoyage text under CC BY-SA; OpenStreetMap data under ODbL; Unsplash photography under the Unsplash Licence; plus place, weather, currency, holiday and advisory data from the providers named in the Privacy Policy. You must preserve the attributions shown in the Service.
The Saferni software, design, wordmark, brand assets and original content are owned by us or our licensors, and are not licensed to you beyond ordinary use of the Service.
9.Plans, credits and payment
- Credits are the unit of consumption. What each kind of plan and action costs in credits, and the current tiers, allowances and prices, are shown on the pricing page and may change.
- Monthly allowance credits do not roll over — they reset each billing cycle. Credits from a purchased pack, and credits we grant, do not expire.
- Daily and weekly generation limits apply per tier in addition to credits, to protect service capacity.
- Prices are quoted in UAE dirhams (AED) and are exclusive of VAT and any other tax, which is added where applicable.
- Self-serve checkout is not yet available. Subscriptions and credit packs are currently activated manually after arrangement; the terms of any purchase are those confirmed to you in writing at the time.
- Refunds: credits are digital content supplied immediately, and a credit spent on a generation is non-refundable. Unspent credits and unused subscription time may be refunded at our discretion within 14 days of purchase — write to info@saferni.ae. This does not affect rights you have under applicable UAE consumer protection law, which we will honour.
- The free tier is provided as-is and may be changed, capped or withdrawn at any time. Non-payment or a chargeback may result in immediate downgrade or suspension.
10.Advertising and partner placements
Advertising funds the free tier. Which tiers see advertising, on which pages, and what data that involves is set out in the Advertising section of the Privacy Policy; the summary is that signed-out visitors and the free Wanderer plan see ads served by Google, Explorer sees a single ad beneath a finished plan, and Voyager sees no third-party advertising at all.
- Advertising placement is part of the Service, not part of your plan content. Advertisers and partners have no influence over what a plan recommends: places, ratings and ordering come from our verified-data pipeline, and no payment can put a destination, hotel or activity into your itinerary.
- Ads are supplied by third parties. We do not endorse, verify or take responsibility for advertised products, services, offers or the sites they lead to, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is solely between you and them.
- Partner placements are suggestions we select ourselves and mark as such. Where a booking made through one earns us a commission we disclose it on the placement. The price you pay is not increased by it.
- Rewarded ads are optional. You may be offered the choice to watch a short ad in exchange for one extra quick plan when your credits are exhausted. It is never a condition of using the credits your plan already includes, and declining costs you nothing.
- Credits earned from rewarded ads are a promotional benefit, not property: they are limited in number, expire seven days after they are granted, may be used only for quick plans, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, sold or refunded. We may withdraw the offer at any time.
- Obtaining rewarded credits by automation, scripted playback, multiple accounts or any other artificial means is a breach of section 6. We may reverse the credits, suspend the offer for your account, or terminate the account under section 15.
- We may add, move, change the number of, or remove advertising placements at any time. On paid plans we will not increase advertising beyond what is described in the Privacy Policy for your tier during a term you have already paid for.
- You may remove third-party advertising by upgrading to Voyager. Ad blockers are permitted and no part of the Service is withheld from you for using one.
11.Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. It depends on third-party providers, some on free tiers with daily caps; where a provider is unavailable, a feature may degrade gracefully, show a “couldn’t verify” state, or be temporarily unavailable. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and perform maintenance, at any time.
12.Third-party services and links
The Service relies on and links to third-party sites for data, imagery, fares and booking. Following such a link takes you to a service governed by that party’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, pricing, availability, security or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
13.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will change the “last updated” date, and for material changes give reasonable prior notice in the app or by email. Changes take effect when published, or on the date stated in the notice, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service and, if you hold a paid plan, contact us about the remainder of your term.
14.Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted availability. AI-composed narrative may contain errors despite our verification layer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for wasted travel expenditure, missed flights, denied entry, cancelled bookings or disrupted trips. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AED 500.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
15.Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or terminate access, with notice where practicable, if you breach these Terms, if your use threatens the security, integrity or availability of the Service, or if the law requires it.
On termination, the sections on your content, liability, indemnity and governing law survive. We delete or de-identify your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Unused paid credits may be refunded at our discretion where we terminate for reasons other than your breach.
16.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, your violation of law or third-party rights, or content you submitted that you were not entitled to submit.
17.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Dubai, UAE have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court. Nothing here removes a mandatory protection or forum available to you as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
18.General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues in force, and our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship.
